What remains - Fathers and daughters

Thu, 22 Apr 2027 · 20:00
Westrand - Cultuurcentrum Dilbeek, Dilbeek
€10–16
What remains is an encounter between two fathers and two daughters who each bring their own art language: photography, music, theater, and singing. From those different disciplines, they investigate how their bond changes when fathers get older and daughters seek their own way. The performance is fueled by stories of other local father-daughter duos. Their voices, questions, and memories form echoes that run through the work. What remains is a search for recognition: for how you look, how you want to be seen, and which traces remain when you enter each other's world. Fathers and daughters wanted You can participate in the workshop Fathers and daughters on the occasion of this performance. For this special artistic project, we are looking for father-daughter duos who want to share their story. This activity forms a unique father-daughter moment. Go into conversation together about what it means to be a father or daughter. How does this role play along in your work, your emotions, or how you stand in life? As a conclusion, a photo portrait of you will be made. Fragments from the conversations and/or photos will get a place in the performance. More info about the workshop
