Tony Yoko & Jazz Sextet Retro Swing play 'Jazz at the Kadans 2026'

The South African jazz musician Tony Yoko (drums & percussive) presents ‘Jazz at the Kadans‘ for the sixth time. He is once again inviting some renowned guest musicians he meets in the broad jazz scene. The central guest this year is the Belgian jazz musician Dirk Van Der Linden (Hammond, piano, and guitar). The jazz sextet Retro Swing is a collaboration between Belgian and South African musicians. It further consists of Dan Selsick (South Africa, trombone), Anne Marie Elstner (South Africa, vocals), Peter Kox (Belgium, trumpet), Dirk de Schoenmaker (Belgium, saxophone), and Marc Roosendans (Belgium, double bass). Together they bring famous Broadway songs from the ‘American Songbook’ and popular movie songs, presented with zest and charm. It is a jazz concert with its own face and sound: even non-jazz fans will enjoy it. With all those top musicians, it promises to be a super jazz evening in GC Kadans again.
