Jan Smit -30 years- in Flanders

These will be unforgettable evenings where 30 years of hits pass in review: both all the well-known sing-alongs such as 'Als de morgen is gekomen', 'Vrienden voor het leven', 'Als de nacht verdwijnt', and 'hoeken van de kamer' as well as hidden gems and new work. With this new concert tour 'Jan Smit - 30 years in Flanders', Jan and his trusted Marcel Fisser Band are heading to Lommel, Wieze, and Roeselare. In 2026, it will be exactly 30 years ago that we first got to know Jan Smit - then still 'Jantje Smit'. As a ten-year-old boy, Jan already sang with the Volendam boys' choir 'De Zangertjes van Volemdam'. His talent was quickly noticed when the Volendam band BZN wanted to record a duet with young local talent and singer Carola Smit. The result, the single 'Mama', hit like a bomb and A star was born! Not much later, in 1997, his big breakthrough followed with 'Ik zing dit lied voor jou alleen', which effortlessly reached the number 1 position in the hit charts in both the Netherlands and later in Flanders. 'Jan Smit - 30 years in Flanders' will be an evening full of classics, beautiful memories, and magic - a must for every Jan Smit fan!
