Jazzy Sunday with father, bass and a voice to dream of
At 24, Adinda Hertmans already has more on her resume than most people at 40. Her track record? Impressive: graduated magna cum laude from the Koninklijk Conservatorium van Brussel, winner of the prestigious Toots Thielemans Jazz Award and selected as one of Klara's Twenties of 2026, the platform that puts the most promising young artists in the country in the spotlight. In other words: a top-class act.
On this Jazzy Sunday stage she is not alone, because in addition to her father Peter Hertmans (guitar) she also brings Fil Caporali, on double bass. Three musicians, one groove… this results in a warm, intimate sound that arises when people play together who know each other through and through.
Adinda Hertmans’s roots lie in both the Netherlands and Belgium. She regularly plays together with names like Igor Gehenot and Antoine Pierre. In January 2027, she will present her project at the Brussels Jazz Festival in Flagey.
