A revelation of the current gypsy jazz scene, Minor Sing has established itself in recent years on the most beautiful French and international stages, carried by the success of their album Djangolympics. De Fontainebleau in Bogotá, from Paris to Quito, their tours have taken them far beyond European borders, to the heart of Latin America. From these travels, new colors, new rhythms, and new stories were born. After several tours in Latin America, the group returns with a new show announcing the release of its next album, Éléphant, scheduled for June. Deeply inspired by the music encountered on the road, the landscapes traversed, and the human encounters that have punctuated these journeys, this album marks a real turning point in the history of Minor Sing. Always guided by the legacy of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, the musicians open their horizon even wider. Their compositions are imbued with distant sounds, new pulsations, and affirm a singular identity: a gypsy jazz in motion, curious about everything, free from its borders. At once modern, virtuoso, and deeply accessible, their music cultivates elegance as much as energy. The humor, omnipresent on stage, accompanies a high-flying musical requirement and creates that direct and warm bond with the public that is the signature of Minor Sing. With Éléphant, the group affirms more than ever its unique place on the current gypsy jazz scene. Minor Sing: more than gypsy jazz, an adventure without borders, curiosity as a compass.
