Atmospheric Christmas Concert "WEIHNACHTEN in SALZBURG"

SERVUS cherishes a long tradition of advent and Christmas concerts with authentic Austrian folk music. These concerts are truly unique due to the characteristic atmosphere they evoke in the darkest period of the year. After many years, we have finally succeeded in inviting the renowned Familienmusik EDER-HUTTER from the SALZBURGERLAND. Leave the hustle and bustle behind and immerse yourself in the soft glow of Christmas. The atmospheric Hanswijk Basilica forms the backdrop for this enchanting concert. Musical families, in which parents and children make music together, are the symbol of Christmas culture in the Salzburgerland. Their music breathes the same authenticity as the story of the family "von TRAPP" from "The Sound of Music". The survival of this tradition is, however, increasingly under pressure, which makes their performance at SERVUS all the more unique. To underline the universal uniting power of music, SERVUS additionally welcomes the woodwind ensemble of the Mechels Kamerorkest, which will give the whole a particularly festive appearance.
