For centuries, people have told stories, legends, fairy tales, myths, ..... as a way to preserve and pass on knowledge. In this walk, we look at what fairy tales and stories teach us about fauna and flora. Why does the stinging nettle sting? Where does the wren live and how did it get its name? Ever heard of King Holly? And why does the oak have those leaves with large lobes? Besides the living story, you will learn even more plant wisdom. What does the plant mean to you? For diversity? Is it edible? Medicinal? Or does it have other uses? In collaboration with Bezoekerscentrum Palingbeek, Provincie West-Flanders Guides: anja goudeseune
