Arno Hartmann studied organ and orchestral conducting at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Concert invitations brought him to organ festivals worldwide. As a soloist, he performed with, among others, the Orchestra da Camera di Firenze and the Moskou Kamerorkest. He made CD recordings with, among others, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the Concilium Musicum Wien and the Bochum Symphony Orchestra. In Wenen he was responsible for numerous concert broadcasts of the Oostenrijkse Omroep (ORF) and he was organist of the Wiener Symphoniker. He is artistic director of the Orgelfestival van Bochum and the Bochumer Orgelpunkte. Program: “BACH – Transcriptions & Fragments”.
