Nine compositions, to be precise, born during lonely nights in a cold church. De Keere improvised on a Contius organ, took the notes home, returned, screwed and planed and finally gave them fixed form. The result sounds almost electronic: registers that open softly, chord and silence blocks that push against each other, and repetitive patterns that involuntarily lure the baroque instrument to the now.
