MA Festival: The BanXhies: Italian trio sonatas

Vier Franse top musicians of the new generation take you to the musical landscapes of the Republiek Venetië and Vienna from the time of Antonio Caldara. We look at the encounters that shaped him, from his masters to his rivals. The combination of his Italian and German style made him a source of inspiration for the composers of the First Viennese School. His trio sonatas combined with the work of, among others, Vivaldi, Biber, Froberger, and Porpora provide a breathtaking program.
