The rebirth of Goldberg
Ce Sunday, the famous Variations Goldberg de Jean-Sébastien Bach are reborn. The original aria with variations for keyboard (written, according to legend, for a nobleman suffering from insomnia) benefits from a fascinating new light in a refined adaptation for string trio. The string instrumentalists give each part a character of its own, while the architecture of Bach's masterpiece remains rock solid. Le Trio Fenix is composed of Shirley Laub, Tony Nys, and Karel Steylaerts, internationally renowned musicians.
