Merula Quartet

Four teenagers, one quartet, a stunning musical force.\n\nHet Merula Strijkkwartet consists of four exceptionally talented young musicians: Jacob Callot (violin), Quinten de Graaf (violin), Titus van Rijn (viola), and Felix Callot (cello). What started as a meeting during the inspiring Zomercursus Woudschoten grew rapidly into a close-knit ensemble with a remarkably mature sound and an infectious stage energy.\n\nTheir talent did not go unnoticed. In March 2025, the quartet won the first prize in the semi-final South region of the Prinses Christina Klassiek Concours. On top of that, they also received the Ensemble Masterclass Prijs and the Willem Twee Toonzaal Prijs, and they were selected for the Nationale Finale of the Prinses Christina Concours.\n\nWith their fresh musicality, intense interplay, and youthful drive, the Merula Strijkkwartet is conquering the stage at a rapid pace, a quartet to discover now and keep following in the coming years!\n\n1 aperitif included
