Bertembos is an old forest with an area of approximately 100 ha. It has long been managed as a coppice-with-standards forest. Beech and pedunculate oak make up 75% of the tree population but northern red oak, sycamore maple, sweet chestnut, hornbeam, and wild cherry are also abundantly present. Jan Aerts goes with us in search of trees that stand out due to their thickness and height or due to a special shape, an unusual leaf, or a strange trunk. We also discover a rare tree species. Distance: +/- 6.3 km. Duration: 2h 30min The walk is free but please register
