On August 22 and 23, Emblem will be buzzing with energy. Tijdens de Havenfeesten will have all sorts of things to experience for young and old around the Netekanaal. Moreover, Sunday, August 23, will be extra special: combine your visit with a delicious nature walk, a fascinating heritage walk through the village center, or go for action with a sporting challenge on or next to the water. Harbor Festivals (August 21 - 23) The idyllic dead arm of the Netekanaal once again forms the backdrop for the atmospheric Harbor Festivals of VVW Emblem! Three days of partying on and around the water with a program full of music, action, and coziness for young and old. Activities only on August 23: Initiatie Kajak (11 AM - 3 PM) Do you like to go out on the water? Then follow a kayak initiation on the Netekanaal, near rowing club The Oar. Kajakclub Oelegem is happy to get you started. An initiation lasts about 45 minutes. Bring a towel and possibly spare clothing. Rowing competition on ergometers (11 AM - 3 PM) The Oar is setting up some ergometers for those looking for a sporting challenge on dry land. After the competition, you can have a drink in the cafeteria or on the terrace. Ferry (10 AM - 4 PM) Do you want to move between the marina of Emblem and The Oar in a fun way? 'Tolerant for sailing heritage' provides an ideal and relaxing connection over the water. Tourist train (10 AM - 4 PM) Do you want to travel a bit further and also discover the village center of Emblem? Then you can go out with the tourist train. The train stops at the marina in Emblem, The Oar, and at the documentation center in the village center of Emblem. Guided heritage walk (11 AM - 3 PM) Curious about heritage in the village center of Emblem? The thematic council Erfgoed Ranst is happy to guide you along the most interesting places and provide a word of explanation here and there. You can also take a look at the beautiful old council chamber of the documentation center and enjoy a refreshing drink.
