Yes, indeed! Our jukebox offers a selection of classical music, waiting for you to be played. A concept in which the audience determines the playlist of the evening: you can vote in advance, but decisions on what will be played are also made during the performance. Every evening is therefore unique. The classical repertoire, casual and according to a different code, without sacrificing quality. And above all with your interaction: coughing is allowed, applauding at the wrong time too. The evening is guided through winding paths by top musicians together with two sympathetic Masters of Ceremony: Clara Cleymans and Geert Van Rampelberg. An evening of classical hits like you’ve never heard them before, fresh and beyond the boundaries of the predictable. Harpiste Leen Van der Roost, soprano Liesbeth Devos, and pianist Bart Van Caenegem wander together with The Jukebox String Quartet through all kinds of high-quality classical music, in search of the most sparkling pieces. They play these fresh arrangements ‘on your request’, off the cuff, from up their sleeve… and serve them hot and ready on your plate! The most beautiful pearls ever written by classical composers, played and interpreted by super-modern people. To top it all off, the unique character of each evening is highlighted by our ‘local talent’ category. You read that right: at every venue, we invite young people via the nearest music school to come and play with us on a work from our ‘list of the greats’.
