74-year-old Maria Angeles leads a quiet life within the close-knit Spanish community in Tangier, Morocco. Her world is turned upside down when her daughter Clara arrives from Madrid with a plan to sell the flat where Maria has lived her whole life. Determined to stay in the city where she grew up, Maria resists this decision and fights to keep her home – and the memories attached to it.
