Under the vibrations of gongs and singing bowls, something unfolds that transcends our reason. A space in which time fades, beginning and end flow together, and the circle repeats itself endlessly. Sound journey 'Eternity' invites you to rest in the infinite: carried by the resonance of sounds that have no destination, only presence. The round shape of the gong, the soft embrace of the bowl: they tell an ancient story without words, without a clock. Let your body sink into the silence between the tones, and feel how you become part of something bigger. A stream without direction, a breath without haste. This sound journey is not a journey forward or back, but a coming home in the here and now – in the eternity of the moment. This time it will be a very special experience where the gongs and the singing bowls are the main instruments of the evening. 20 gongs and more than 70 singing bowls will give you an experience you have never had before. Please provide your own lying mat, a blanket, and possibly a pillow for the head. So that you can enjoy this concert in complete comfort. Biography Andy Vanbeveren is passionate about music and its effects on humans. What once started with singing bowls and gongs has meanwhile grown into a collection of more than 350 instruments. Native American Flute, didgeridoo, handpan, tongue drum, all kinds of percussion and drums, numerous string instruments, piano, and many other world instruments belong to his unique collection. He completed various training courses at home and abroad and was allowed to learn from many great 'masters' in their field such as Hans de Back (singing bowls), Shree Krishna Shahi and Santa Ratna Shakya (singing bowls), Don Conreaux (gongs), Michael Telepary (Native American Flute), Nestor Kornblum (overtone singing),... Since 2010, he has had more than 1000 concerts to his name. Not only throughout Flanders, but also in the Netherlands. He played, among others, at Tomorrowland, the Japanese garden in Hasselt, Casino van Blankenberge, numerous cultural centers, churches, etc. He is known for his lasting innovations in sound combinations. A passion that he now also knows how to interpret via live looping. In the past, he played together with other musicians such as Tylaine Van den Broeck (piano), Gilbert Isbin (lute), John Snauwaert (sax), Michael Telapary (American Native Flute), Nicolas Mortelmans (sitar), Hari Paudjal (bansuri flute), Hélène Philippart (bansuri flute and transverse flute), Manish Pingle (slide guitar), Catherine Maes (mezzo-soprano), Bart Gits (taiko), Kees Kort (shakuhachi), Aki Vergels-Sato (koto), Cantavita (overtone singing), etc. In addition, he has already accompanied numerous yoga sessions, meditation, teambuildings, festivals, Ecstatic Dance, etc.
