Visual performance in which different generations meet each other in the past, future, and now. In a unique set, two living rooms literally rotate on their axis. In one, a boy tries to find his place among the moving boxes. In the other, an older woman surrounds herself with precious memories. Both look in a different direction: he dreams forward, she looks back. But neither of them really takes a step. Gradually, they discover that there is more than their own living world. Routine gives way to curiosity, and without realizing it, these two opposites nudge each other out of their familiar walls. In this unique clash and fusion of generations, memories and dreams give way to the power of the here and now. POR is for children who cannot wait for what is coming, adults who would rather stay where they are, and the rest who hang somewhere in between. In the press: “Of course you feel coming that they become each other's crowbar... A gentle, moving dance and circus theater performance about the difference in clock and (lived) time. Yet this dance with the timepiece turns out differently than you expect, because the inventive set is used in a mobile and meaningful way.” (De Volkskrant) Piet and Jonas talked about the process of POR.
