Workshop biodiversity in the garden (Lubbeek)

Sun, 28 Jun 2026 · 11:00
Rosette Bernaerts, Lubbeek
Free
A biodiverse garden is much more than just a beautiful collection of plants; it is a living, resilient ecosystem in your own backyard. By choosing variety in plants, shrubs, and trees, you create a paradise for beneficial insects, birds, and hedgehogs. There are also quite a few recycling techniques that can help you make your garden biodiverse, such as alternative grass management, the construction of brushwood hedges, the targeted application of native species, or providing a compost spot. By increasing biodiversity, you not only create a livelier garden, but you also help nature and reduce maintenance. A small adjustment already makes a big difference. Through examples in Rosette's garden, you get an explanation of how you can tackle this practically yourself.  The workshop is free.  Registration is mandatory. Max 20 people per time slot.
