The Voluminous - Volume 12

For their Volume 12, Les Volumineuses are setting up camp at VK for a new day dedicated to music, celebration, and creativity! On the programme: the great classics of the Volumes — concerts, DJ sets, tattoos, gems… — as well as a few new features, including a drag bingo! Throughout the day, you will also find performances and various stands and areas to chill out with friends, treat yourself, and let your creativity flow: hair styling, gems, tattoos… Avec Jaffa, AEL, Chose, and Liv Del Estal in concert, Fatoosan on the decks, and Wenjazz on the mic. The full lineup will be unveiled soon. Les Volumineuses is a Brussels-based collective that highlights sexualised artists — anyone who has been a victim of sexism — by offering them a space for expression and visibility in a festive, inclusive, and caring environment. Organising two to three micro-festivals per year, Les Volumineuses offers days that are as chill as they are explosive, with each edition reinventing itself depending on the venue, the programme, and the atmosphere. A conscious price so that everyone can participate To ensure the Volumes remain accessible to everyone, we are offering a conscious price rather than a single fixed price: 4 rates for the same day, and each person chooses the one that best matches their situation and capabilities. - €7 — Solidarity rate - €12 — Basic rate - €15 — Equilibrium rate - €18 — Helping hand rate A "conscious" price means taking a little moment to reflect on your contribution, taking into account your own financial situation as well as the cost and enabling factors of the event. Every ticket helps pay the artists and the people who keep the festival alive, and funds the technical setup, equipment, security, hospitality, and communication. Each rate brings the exact same day into existence, based on a logic of cooperation and solidarity. If none of these rates are possible for you, community tickets are available for people in precarious situations and/or facing multiple factors of discrimination: simply send us an email at safer.bxl@lesvolumineuses.org. A short questionnaire will soon be available to help you choose between the different rates.
