La Vénerie, Espace Delvaux – Centre Culturel de Watermael-Boitsfort, Brussels
Working from images collected on the social networks of strangers and feeding on queer and feminist theories and fictions, but also on her own experience, Agathe comes to give these digital archives a new luster and create an imaginary and affective community. Her work questions self-representation, exhibitionism and voyeurism, collective memory, and the mundane of daily life.
The party is celebrated in what it has of liberating and political, but also in its excesses. Here, we have access to these precious moments that surround the party, the outfits to choose, the befores, the essentials to put in your bag before going out, the afters, and the time spent with your friends, those you care about or whom you have just met.
Exhibition open Wednesdays from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and on activity days.
