The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain

Amélie is looking for love and the meaning of existence. She is a waitress in the center of Montmartre, where she has contact with her neighbors and customers, also with a mysterious photo collector. Slowly, Amélie realizes that the road to happiness will not reveal itself, but that she will have to show initiative for this. The film won numerous awards including two BAFTA Film Awards’, César for best film 2002 and Europese Filmprijs for best film 2001.
