This is how it continues - De Nwe Tijd

The birth of his son brings theater maker and writer Freek Vielen back to the days around his mother's deathbed. As if the disappearance and appearance of life testify to the same miracle: that we may exist for a very short while. In this intimate and honest monologue full of humor and stimulating thoughts, he explores the boundaries of that miracle: what is eternal and what is only for a moment, what continues when everything seems to stop? And above all: what do you answer your son when he asks who he should be when he grows up? Freek Vielen is a theater maker and writer at the Antwerp theater company De Nwe Tijd. He wrote and directed, among others, 'Doe de groeten aan de ganzen' (was at TAZ#2024), 'Niets' and '(v)' (was also at TAZ#2024).
