Concert film: The story of Lung-ta - NAUSCA

On a cold morning, a girl washes up on a raft. She wakes up and realizes that she is in a unique environment. On her journey, she tries to understand nature, the world around her. A world in which everything is one and indivisible, but which is also in bad shape. Occasionally she gets help from windhorses. These horses appear in different forms and help her like a guardian angel to understand nature, the environment around her, and eventually save it. Nausca brings an audiovisual performance in which four live musicians (harp, strings, drums, electronics, guzheng, nyckelharpa, and yayli tambur) tell the girl's story using real film footage, animation video, graphics, and immersive sound. The girl's name, Lung-ta, refers to the Tibetan prayer flags on which a knight and a horse are depicted. The windhorses stand for the invisible power of the wind that makes the flags move. These horses of the wind symbolize the power and the own rhythm of nature around us and can bring both prosperity and adversity in life. ‘The story of Lung-ta’ is an ode to biodiversity and the beauty of nature, but also a wake-up call for how we as a civilization deal with that biodiversity. In collaboration with Wilde Westen. Schouwburg Kortrijk is a proud UiTPAS partner. Save UiTPAS points during the performance. Are you entitled to a ticket at an increased allowance?
