Zangeres Esther Verheye and musician Bruno De Castro bring an intimate and deeply felt set in which voices and guitar harmonies are central, subtly supplemented with percussion and a touch of trumpet. Esther, a classically trained mezzo-soprano, moves effortlessly between genres and found a deep, personal resonance in Latin American music. Bruno’s love for the Spanish and Latin American repertoire grew during his travels through, among others, Cuba, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Chile, and resonates in his warm, deeply felt playing.
