In fanfare

Thibaut is an internationally renowned conductor who leads concerts all over the world and lives a luxurious life. However, his life is turned upside down when he learns that he is ill. In search of a donor, he discovers that he was adopted and that he has a brother: Jimmy, who works in a school canteen in the north of France. At first glance, the two men have nothing in common, except for their shared love of music: Jimmy plays the trombone in a local brass band. Lorsque Thibaut discovers Jimmy's unexpected talent and decides it is time to rectify this "unequal destiny." Jimmy, for his part, begins to dream of a completely different life... The film is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. It shows how music brings people together, and how unlikely family ties can lead to sincere friendships.
