Neighborhood sports

At Met Buurtsport, we provide primary school children with an accessible way to get in touch with sports and with each other. We exercise in 2 groups, and children choose for themselves which group they prefer to join: The bouncy balls can take a hit; things sometimes get a bit wilder with them. For the first part, the activity leaders provide a specific sport, and for the 2nd part, they choose together which sport they will do. (very often that is football) For the yoyos , we have a slightly more structured and developed program every week. There is also more attention paid to closeness and well-being with them. Our enthusiastic activity leaders love participating with you. They always go through the rules with you before we start. You decide for yourself when you come; you don't have to be there every week (although we would like that, of course). Given the great success, we do ask that you register via www.uitinkontich.be/buurtsport. You are welcome from the day you turn 6 years old, or when you are in the 1st grade. You can come and play sports until you are 12 years old. Buurtsport is completely free! Just put on your sports clothes, bring your water bottle, and come join in! Don't forget clean sports shoes either. See you then?! (Note! We are not there during school holidays and during exam periods! You can check all dates on the registration form.)
