Neos Summer Opera

De Zomeropera means an accessible introduction to opera, and forms a successful classic on the Neos agenda. For 2027 as well, a top-tier event will be on the program. Just like in past years, we do not want to miss the unique and enchanting open-air opera in Alden Biesen. And clearly, neither do you! Interest is consistently high, and the open-air grandstand nicely filled with Neos members. In short: extended due to success! Alden Biesen Zomeropera reaches thousands of visitors annually. For many, the festival means an accessible introduction to opera in an exceptional location. Enthusiasts know the way well by now, but for many others too, the performance means an accessible introduction to opera. Zomeropera brings creative, fresh, and accessible performances where libretto and score merge in perfect harmony. And all this in the atmospheric historical setting of the Landcommanderij in Alden Biesen, in the wonderfully covered inner courtyard.
