Film with pastry and coffee: Singin' in the Rain

Singin' in the Rain - 1952 - 103 minutes Direction: Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly - musical, comedy, romance, film Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) and Lina Lamont (Jean Hagen) are undisputed box-office magnets in the heyday of the silent film. But then Hollywood switches to the sound film, and Lina turns out to have a voice like a crow. Perhaps, suggests friend and pianist Cosmo (Donald O'Connor), it is an idea to let the sweet-voiced Kathy (Reynolds) record her lines? Possibly the best MGM musical of all time. Besides the iconic title song, Singin' in the Rain contains catchy songs like 'Make 'm Laugh' and 'Good Morning', during which, of course, there is fantastic dancing. Register before September 17.
