Commentaar
Geïnspireerd on the true story surrounding the shepherd Ovidio Marras, acclaimed director Riccardo Milani tells a heartwarming underdog story about the things money cannot buy. A warm, funny and ultimately moving David and Goliath story, which takes place in a beautiful setting and is carried by an impressive cast. But the big star of the film is lead actor Giuseppe Ignazio Loi, a real 84-year-old Sardinian shepherd, who gives the film a particularly engaging authenticity without any acting experience.
