Dive back in time and immerse yourself in the rich past of the former shipyards in Baasrode. This magnificent industrial site is protected heritage today. It is 3ha in total size. De Provincie is developing the place into a lively heritage site about shipbuilding and inland navigation. It tells the story of the flourishing shipyards along the Scheldt in the 19th and 20th centuries, then one of the major industries of our country.
