In the family musical Baron 1898, young Jochem meets the adventurer Gustav Hooghmoed, who is on his way to his great love in a distant land. But as soon as Gustav discovers that gold can be found deep in the ground of the Zompige Heide, he turns into the greedy Baron Hooghmoed. ‘Efteling tells… Baron 1898’ is an adventurous family musical about pride, greed and love.
