An unemployed actor receives a phone call from a renowned television production company that wants to film his life story. He himself, however, does not understand it: What does his life actually amount to? Everything he has dreamed of so far has turned out completely differently. His marriage has hit the rocks, his work is barely seen, and his relationship with his children and friends is also not going as smoothly as proverbially expected. But since he is currently out of work, he is eventually convinced to cooperate on the TV series. Until everything turns out differently than expected.
