Duo Tiaire

Duo Tiaire unites the warm sound of the cello with the sparkling clarity of the harp. Tiago Henriques and Claire Schuurmans have been playing together since 2022 and have shown an unmistakable musical synergy since then. They already surprised with an interdisciplinary project around Saramago’s ‘The City of the Blind’ and won prizes multiple times: a second prize at the Rosa Spier Harpconcours, a first prize in the regional final, and a second prize in the national final of the Prinses Christina Concours. In 2026, they were also laureates of the Supernova competition of the Klara Festival and performed in ‘Podium Klassiek’ as ‘Jonge Helden’. A duo that breathes class, refinement, and imagination.
