Waldo Geuns & Tom De Beuckelaer - From Tervuren to Buenos Aires

Two pianists from Vossem, one shared passion for music. Steinway artist Tom De Beuckelaer and musical jack-of-all-trades Waldo Geuns are on national and international stages today. For this concert, they return to their home base. They bring a varied and personal program with music that is close to their hearts. From the clear lines of Bach to the sizzling tangos of Piazzolla. From the quiet sounds of Silvestrov to the virtuoso imagination of Scriabin and Rachmaninov. Solo and four-hand playing alternate, so that as an audience you fall from one surprise into the next. As a finale, Rachmaninov's impressive piano sonata sounds. A unique opportunity to hear two top musicians from our own region together. In collaboration with the municipality Tervuren Dit concert is part of a new series of stage activities that CC De Warandepoort is organizing together with the municipality of Tervuren in the sub-municipalities.
