Carmen, the passionate lover, the free-spirited woman, the fury. Who is she really? Strike explores the legendary story of opera composer Georges Bizet.
A hybrid experience
where opera, film, flamenco, and performance come together. At the same time, the ensemble dissects themes such as desire, violence, migration, and resistance. Who is Carmen really? A symbol of love, a liberation, or a threat that must be subdued time and again. The performance combines live performance and film. As the images on the screen fade, a new story emerges all around.
