After decades in which he has enchanted, moved, and made the Dutch and Flemish theater audience laugh, Fred Delfgaauw is hitting the road with a tour that honors his impressive career. Although he will never completely disappear from the stage, this tour marks the end of almost 50 years in which he created new and unique productions.
In ‘Up to here and now further’, he brings together the highlights of his oeuvre in one intimate and interactive evening. The audience chooses which stories come back to life. Beloved characters like De Baby, Mevrouw Rouwbos, and De Heer van Onderen return, alongside fragments from, among others, ‘Mozart’, ‘Birds of Paradise’, and ‘Waiting Room of Love’.
With minimal means and maximum expressiveness, Delfgaauw knows better than anyone how to combine humor and depth. For loyal followers, this is a warm reunion, for new audiences the chance to discover a master storyteller.
An evening of pure, personal, and enchanting theater.
