Testament

A sister and two brothers come together in the house where their father is dying. While they keep watch, they take stock of their hectic lives. Briefly escaped from the delusion of the day, the carefree togetherness of their youth shimmers through again. But what remains of what they shared with each other as children? Testament is a performance about unconditional family ties and inevitable breaking lines, about the dynamics of families and about what we leave to each other – wanted or unwanted. Because an inheritance is more than money. Regisseur Peter Monsaert brings his view on families and hidden stories to the theater and does so with Janne Desmet, Titus De Voogdt, and Dominique Van Malder: three players who are known for their disarming honesty and ability to relieve pain with a laugh.
