The last Saturday of July in Koksijde is dedicated to the magic of nostalgic live music. De Tijdloze Tribute Festival (Zomerarena Koksijde) brings an evening full of recognition, emotion, and top musical quality, with tributes to some of the greatest icons in music history. A collaboration between Gemeente Koksijde, Show-Time, and the VRT. 4 exceptional tribute bands bring an immersive ode to ABBA, The Beatles, Dire Straits, and Tina Turner. More than just a concert, De Tijdloze is a total experience. The evening is festively concluded with De Tijdloze Dansant, an afterparty full of indestructible classics and timeless dance floor hits, led by a special guest. Van Dancing Queen and Voulez-Vous to Fernando and The Winner Takes It All. The Beatles – by The Beatles Today Een authentic and immersive tribute to the most influential band of all time. With an eye for detail, original instruments, strong polyphony, and infectious stage energy, these 4 performers bring the repertoire of Lennon, McCartney, Harrison, and Starr back to life. Dire Straits – by Cooking with Knopfler Een stylish variant of Dire Straits and the iconic guitar work of Mark Knopfler. With an eye for detail and musical craftsmanship, they make classics like Sultans of Swing, Romeo and Juliet, and Brothers in Arms shine again. Tina Turner – by This Is Tina Frontvrouw Maureen Alberg embodies Tina Turner down to the smallest details: vocally, visually, and in appearance. Classics like Simply The Best, Proud Mary, Private Dancer, and Nutbush City Limits provide an intense live experience that evokes the stadium feeling of Tina’s legendary concerts. De Tijdloze Dansant – afterparty After the concerts, the party continues unabated until 1:30 AM: an afterparty full of timeless pop, rock, and dance classics.
