Boempi is old.
Very old.
Boempi lives together with Laure in a small house on the edge of the forest.
En Boempi talks. Boempi talks a lot. Very much, Laura thinks.
Laure herself does not talk. Not with words, anyway...
Laure speaks with notes.
Not peanuts, of course. And no monkey nuts. Or coconuts.
Laure speaks with musical notes.
Als Boempi talks, sometimes words fall on the ground.
And Laure picks them up.
And then she puts those wasted words in a glass jar.
And sometimes – when Boempi cannot think of a certain word again, she conjures up such a word and the story can continue.
Today Boempi tells a story from long ago and far away.
He tells about how he woke up as a little boy and immediately saw that it had snowed.
So he immediately – trip-trap down the stairs – went outside to make a snowman.
But... at the stroke of midnight, that snowman comes to life!
And then... a magical adventure begins...
And there – where Boempi’s words fall short, there is of course Laura with her super beautiful piano music.
A particularly warm and gratifying performance about the wonderful innocence and wonder of childhood. About dreams and above all about a touching friendship. About snowball fights and delicious cookies with tea.
