A lecture about Kim Noble's new book and other words
To mark the publication of his first (and probably last) book, In Pursuit of a Wonderful Nothing,
Kim Noble will present a lecture about writing, books and words, that
may help you with your own book, or an email or a message to a loved
one.
In 2010 Kim Noble started to write a book: a true love
story about falling in love with someone who did not exist. The book has
morphed and changed, has been rejected, abandoned, rewritten and eaten.
This book talk and signing will be a culmination of this process, where
Kim attempts to make ‘a user’s guide to the written word’, taking
advice from writers throughout the ages and his mum.
Kim Noble
was an award-winning comedic performance and video artist. He worked
across theatre, TV, film, art, comedy and like every other loser he had a
podcast. But because most of that came to nothing… he is now trying to
be a writer. When will he fucken learn.
