Raymond's reading circle: reading together

Tue, 7 Jul 2026 · 14:00
Library Saint-Gilles (NL), Brussels
You might already know our regular volunteer Raymond: he comes by our library almost every week on Tuesdays, in Muntpunt he is also a well-known and well-liked face, and he guides our Dutch conversation tables. But now he wants to set up something else fun in our library: a reading circle. You are welcome on Tuesday afternoon to read and discuss together for an hour. Raymond provides the texts: so you don't have to prepare anything, everything is read on the spot and then discussed. Expect mysterious excerpts, mysterious book fragments, and exciting literary highlights! Curious? The next reading moments take place on Tuesday, June 2 and on Tuesday, July 7, always from 2 PM to 3 PM (an hour before the library opens). Participation is free, but we do ask you to register by sending an email to bibliotheek@stgilles.brussels, calling us, or just speaking to us at the counter. Everyone is welcome! But note: this is not a Dutch practice opportunity.
