Café Congé

The Youth and Education department is once again rolling out the family festival Café congé. Together with all children from Deinze and their (grand)parents, we want to start the summer vacation in a relaxed way. Everyone is welcome on Friday, June 26 from 4 pm at the cozy festival site in the most beautiful public garden of Deinze: the Kaandelpark. Met Café congé offers the city of Deinze the opportunity for its residents to head to the Kaandelpark with the whole family and enjoy children's entertainment, music and summer vibes there. Of course, snacks and delicious refreshments cannot be missing. Families who wish can bring their own picnic to the park, to fully enjoy the atmosphere there. In addition, food truck Lekker Bekje will provide a delicious range of snacks. Vanuit Oord we will provide a wide range of drinks. What does Café congé entail? Friday, June 26, everyone is welcome from 4 pm in the Kaandelpark. Between 4 pm and 6:30 pm, families can enjoy delicious snacks and drinks with summer background music. While the adults enjoy the cozy gathering, the children can let off steam on bouncy castles and other inflatable attractions, get their faces painted, visit the shooters who are bringing their festival pole, or choose from a range of loose play materials. From 6:30 pm, Funky Stars Discoshow provides a cheerful, interactive live show full of dance, music and experience. In short; a party where young and less young can let themselves go and enjoy together to the fullest! At 8 pm, MIXTAPE continues the party with their infectious live act. For the three professional vocalists, everything revolves around pure experience and interaction! Not a classic stage show, but a performance full of old and new hits, in which the audience is literally and figuratively central! The bar remains continuously open from 4 pm to 9:45 pm to provide everyone with the necessary refreshments, at the regular democratic prices of Jongerenplaats Oord (levy JC Brieljant).
