Tech-wise festival Menen

During TechWijs Menen 2026, you will discover technology from different angles – informative, educational, and ethical. We invite you on a journey through the world of tomorrow, where technologies are increasingly part of our daily lives. The program is filled with interactive demos, workshops, and engaging lectures, where experts share their insights on the impact of technology on our future. The technology festival runs from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and admission is free. One of the eye-catchers of the festival is the show ‘Toverhacks’ by Inti De Ceukelaire. In this performance, he brings out his tech trick box. Furthermore, workshops for young people are already being planned, as well as lectures by Johan Loeckx on ‘Peace and Technology’ and by Peter Algoet on ‘Freethinking humanism and new technology’, with an ethically critical look at AI and IoT. The exhibition program is filled with, among other things, demos from companies, a digi-sandbox, a helpdesk, and music technology. This edition is organized by VC De Bezatse in collaboration with RTC and other partners, with the support of deMens.nu West-Vlaanderen.
