Tortot is a field cook in a time of endless wars. He always joins, and just in time, the winning camp. His heart is as cold as that of a fish, but he has the gift of preparing a delicious soup with a limp carrot and a dried-out onion. One day he finds the very young soldier George in a storage barrel. Tortot would prefer to have him out of his kitchen, but George knows how to steal his heart... A tender total spectacle about a friendship amidst the mud and blood of the battlefield. A brass band ventures onto the battlefield that is partly imagined by FroeFroe's rich puppet world and Laika flavors the performance with a reconciling meal. Meal included. Food allergy?
