ZINGMAMEE: open singing for people with dementia

Wed, 3 Jun 2026 · 12:00
Zuiderpershuis, Antwerp
Free
Singalongs for people with and without dementia ZINGMAMEE is not a care activity behind closed doors, but an open singalong for everyone. People with dementia sing along and actively contribute to the whole, including those living at home, who make up 70% of the target group. Family, neighbors, caregivers, and interested parties: come sing along and feel the power of connection. By singing together, we create shared experiences that break through isolation, strengthen self-image, and stimulate meeting. Caregivers also find relaxation, recognition, and support here. The first ZINGMAMEE edition takes place in Antwerp on June 3 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. We think it is important that everyone can participate. Do you have extra support needs or other questions about certain facilities, do not hesitate to contact us by email via lise.neels@koorenstem.be or in the comments box in the registration form. We are happy to help you further! This activity is free, but registration is mandatory. You can register until May 26, 2026, for this session.
