Lasse Vonck has been proclaimed and acclaimed as a prodigy by press and public as a young artist. Thirty years later, that is no longer the case. That people have forgotten him over the years, he finds a bearable fate, but he is lost, he is looking for a goal, meaning. On a lusterless spring day, Lasse is so alienated from himself upon waking that he no longer really knows who he is. He cannot even speak anymore.
