Since her victory at the Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd for violin in 2001, Baiba Skride has been an indispensable part of the international violin top. She was previously a guest at the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra and now returns with Dmitri Sjostakovitsj’s impressive Second Violin Concerto. It will also be a happy reunion with conductor Osmo Vänsk.
