The breakfast

What if your Sunday morning started with a show around a real breakfast? The Dérézo company transforms the morning ritual into a moment of theater, sharing, and gluttony.
Installed around a wooden counter, the spectators take place in a small friendly arena, where everyone sees everyone, a hot chocolate, a croissant, or an elbow placed in front of oneself.
In the center, an actor and an actress or two cordon bleu actresses are active before your eyes. Soft-boiled eggs, orange juice, homemade madeleines: one cooks, one serves, one discusses, one tells. Between morning briefs, intimate memories, literary fantasy, and joyful chatter, words circulate like the smells of coffee.
Inspired notably by the Culinary Miscellanies of Ben Schott, but also by Proust (Yes, the famous madeleine), Alice in Wonderland, Bernard Noël, Thierry Bourcy or Alexandra Badéa, this breakfast-show mixes stories, delicacies, and tenderness. For 40 minutes, daily life takes on a slightly different taste: that of true stories, memories that come back, tongues that loosen.
An original, warm, and deliciously morning theatrical appointment, to wake up differently.
In partnership with the Cellule Environnement of the Ville de Mouscron.
