Walk into the heart of the Zegbroek, a damp, peaty meander of the Demer with some peat pits. You can observe a rare natural phenomenon there: quaking bog. During this walk, the guide will exceptionally take you off the existing walking paths. You only get this chance twice a year. (next time on September 13, '26). Sturdy, water-resistant footwear is recommended. (Despite the warm weather, the Zegbroek is still partly underwater, boots are recommended!)
